I got bored in the bathroom. Don't ask why. And I took a picture of the dryer but you cant really tell what it is at first. Its the button you press to start the hand dryer.

Texture

-Texture I think, is when the picture has something in it that you look at and tell it has a certain feeling when you touch it. It gives the picture something interesting.
-Showing texture can make the picture come out better and not be so flat.
-Having a shadow can create a different looking texture and a different feeling.

POTW #2

I like this photo because it is from a very interesting perspective. They could have just done head on but instead they did it behind the viel and i think it made this picture super interesting. I like how they arnt posing they are just kind of standing there off guard. The lighting on them is not that great because of the shadows on their face from the direct sunlight. The picture is portraying the new kind of dresses made, and I thinkt they did a good job.

Framing Photos

Leading Line

-The focal point of this picture is sara walking.
-The wall starts away and keeps going past sara
-I think I could have done better, this picture is a little blah.

-I guess the focal point in this picture is into the forest from the leading line
- The path starts beyond the picture and goes into the trees.
- I like this one even though no one is in it.

-Saras face is the focal point of the leading line.
-The lines begin beyond the picture with her feet and lead up her body to her face.
-I think I did OKAY on my first attempt.

Critique

I chose this picture because its simple yet there are many things in the picture. I like the lighting and how it is overcast so there are no harsh shadows. I also like the contrast of the white geese against the green grass. The tree is the biggest thing in the picture, and there is only one and there are a lot of geese walking by, I think this picture is really unique.

Changing the position or distance of your object made you see it in a different way. You might like it up close or far back. It made each picture have character.
